Eastwood Health and Care Centre

The newly introduced bus service 375 which served Eastwood Health and Care Centre has been axed due to lack of use.

The 374 service still operates but with a slightly modified route and timetable.  It no longer stops adjacent to the Rouken Glen Park Gates & Garden Centre.

You can access the latest 374 timetable at the link:

SPT operates “MyBus” which is a bookable bus servicing offering door-to-door transport. “My Bus” can be used for GP appointments and will pick up and drop off as close as possible to the destination. All vehicles are low-floor and wheelchair friendly. Normal bus service fares apply and can be checked at the time of booking. National entitlement card, zone cards and day tickets are all valid. “My Bus” can serve the new Eastwood Health and Care Centre.

Community Transport East Renfrewshire operate “your wee red bus” (www.yourweeredbus.org.uk) which along with volunteer drivers can provide transport to medical appointments. Users need to be referred to the service from their GP surgery and they can then book appointments by telephone, giving at least one weeks notice.

Williamwood train station is immediately adjacent to the new Eastwood Health and Care Centre with services every 30 minutes from Whitecraigs and Muirend in either direction.
